Welcome Remark

The Natural Resources and Environmental Management Science (NREMS) Study Program, Graduate School of IPB University, will hold an international scientific seminar in environmental science, namely The 4th International Seminar on Natural Resources and Environmental Management 2025 (ISeNREM 2025). NREMS successfully conducted the 1st ISeNREM in 2019, the 2nd ISeNREM in 2021, and the 3rd ISeNREM in 2023.

This seminar is expected to serve as a kick-off event for the exchange of scientific knowledge across various disciplines among experts from multiple countries in the broad field of environmental science. It also aims to foster networks and collaborations for future research efforts in addressing environmental challenges. Additionally, the event seeks to enhance opportunities for young researchers to undertake independent research in their home countries in the future.

Rationale

This theme was formulated based on the existing reality that both developing and developed countries face challenges in natural resource management amid rapid economic growth. Ensuring sustainable development while prioritizing responsible and wise natural resource management remains a critical challenge for all nations.
